Dear Senator
Created with the goal of helping children to better understand their place in society as well as the impact an animal has on its environment, Dear Senator is a children’s picture book about activism and the environment. It teaches children not only about an endangered animal but also about reaching out to local representatives to speak out about what’s important to them. The story follows a young boy who, after learning in class about the manatees and their home being in danger, decides to speak up and send a message to his local senator to help.
